A View Through

Taken at a stop, biking along the Rhine River in Germany during my study abroad trip. Originally I was impressed with the vines covering the wall of this tiny restaurant, however being such a clear, sunny, summer day, I saw the brilliant colors and symmetry pop out right at me.

Bird Within

Hiking through some Icelandic caves, we came to a final spot in the rear that was illuminated from above and traverse no further. Looking up I saw the birds flying above without a care in the world.

Towering Shadows

Attempting to get a candid photo of my friend at the Black Sand beaches of Iceland, the sun and the mist may not have resulted in the type of picture he wanted, but contrasting light and elements revealed an opportunity for another type of photo.

Patiently Waiting

After walking from end of Interlaken to the other, I decided to stop and rest here before heading back to catch my train. I found myself in awe of the calmness and felt I needed to capture the moment before leaving.

Different Journeys, Same Destinations

In the early morning arrival at Machu Pichu, I decided to head to the furthest area from the main entrance, before this great wonder became overwhelmed with tourists. I found that I wasn't the only one who thought it best to head first to the secluded Sun Temple and take some time in to enjoy the solitude with new company.
